Teach. Listen. Love.
Earlier this week, I posted a little doodle that I made while processing my feelings about the death of George Floyd. I was (am) angry that an unarmed man was held down by authorities for several minutes. I was (am) angry that there are so many different dynamics in our society that need to change. We have a problem in our country when it comes to not only our criminal justice system but many other areas of life and if we all stand together, maybe we will see things change.
The term “standing together” has so many different meanings these days. This could look like protests, giving to organizations that are helping the victimized and voiceless, educating oneself on the issues of the day, rioting, sharing things on social media, etc. A lot of my friends want to stand up for the injustice that’s happening in our country but don’t know where to start, so I thought I’d use my platform to teach, promote listening, and to love well.
You may be asking yourself, what the heck does that mean?! Well, let me explain!
Teach
I am going to share resources about systematic problems that people in our country are facing. The goal is for me to not only share resources but for you to be able to do so as well!
Listen
I believe people want to understand more about systematic problems in our country, but may be scared or feel shame to ask “dumb” questions, so I’ve decided to start a once a month online gathering to do just that!
Love
I am going to share opportunities to love people in your community and beyond.

Thank you for considering to join me as we stand together to be the change we want to see!! Know, that I am not an expert, but I am willing to start a conversation so we can all learn and grow together! And now I’ll leave you with the wise words from Mother Teresa, “None of us, including me, ever do great things. But we can all do small things, with great love, and together we can do something wonderful."
